I do not think about cleats as "go rapidly" gear....I consider them as security gear. I have seen several persons fall and drop guns or slip and slide donning hiking sneakers when it would not transpire when they were being wearing cleats. The only time I'v observed them be a downside was on stairs, platforms and so forth that don't have carpet on
